Default Rocker switch for flood lights?

Is it possible to get a rocker switch that matches the factory ones (on the center console, down next to the locker and sway bar switches) to use for flood lights? I have a Rubicon and there is a blank space there that I'd like to use for a flood light switch, but I haven't been able to locate a switch, or even know if that blank piece can be removed to add a switch.

Where does everyone else mount switches for flood/fog lights and what type of switch did you use, and where did you get the switch? Can you post some picks of your mountings, please?

Thanks for any help or advice!

I took that panel apart last week to see if I could add a switch for an air compressor. Unfortunately that whole bank is 1 piece that has a microchip board in it, that runs the whole length of the switch assembly. I don't think it will be possible.

I would think that the blank-off plate below the switch would be ideal. I know that they is a metal bar running thru it, but I can't remember where it's positioned. I think that some people have used this spot.

I was looking for the blank, so I asked the parts department. They said the part number is 4602507AE. They could not give me a description (if it was truly a blank or if it had the hazard triangle, ESP, etc).

I was told the blank was around $28....

I did not buy it, so I have no idea if you could hook it up.

when mounting the lights at the windshield, do people run the wires into the engine compartment and through the firewall, or do you lower the windshield and run them into the interior through the seal?

would anyone be willing to post some pics of their wiring leaving the light, and some picks of where they mounted the switch, please?

that cooltech panel would be great if i needed more than one switch....maybe someday!

I have done a lot of research on those switches.. They are not usable or you cannot add a button as they are all microchip and computer controlled.. No space to slip anything behind etc. You will have to find other mounting points..

I don't know what they pay those design engineers for over at DC. Everybody in the world knows jeep people will want aftermarket lights, racks, etc. but they provide no easy solution for us or even their Mopar products. THEY ARE MISSING OUT ON THE JK ACCESSORIES MONEY TREE...!!!
