Dang it, I thought the SRC Rocker Guards did both, protect the underside allowing you to slide off rocks and becuase of the upward angle, protect the side.

Well, here are some views on it if you are interested and haven't seen this thread.

I just figured with option "A" you would loose ground clearance. Just becuase I have a skid/body armor, I don't want it to be so low that it goes scraping everything

That's what I think....just wanting to hear from people that are running with these.

I think A. I will lose some ground clearance.

My SRC's just came in today (b) and I can't wait to get them on. The first one's look like they would affect ground clearance so I ordered the second one's in your post.

So...the stock rails on my Rubu protect the underside edge of the Jeep...right? It appears the offer minimal protection to the side...albeit a little of of the rail sticks out, but again not much. Isn't there a set up that protects both the underside and the side...maybe even that passengers could use to get in an out of the Jeep? I am sure I am missing something here?!

They look good, can you take a pic from the top? I wanna know how far they stick out from the body, I want something that is out far enough that I can still use as a step comfortably. something that you can actually put the ball of your foot on and not just your toes.

Thanks.

I have some also. They stick out about 1-1.5" away from body.

Thanks Jason, I like the look of these but 1.5" is not enough in my book. I think i'll stay with the idea of fab my own with the stock Rubi sliders.
