Default Roll cage padding size for factory Jeep bars?

Anyone used roll cage padding on their OEM sized bars? Anyone confident they know what size to order?

The only problem is Jeep didn't paint all of the roll cage. I started to do that too until I noticed a fair bit of the cage is primer colored.

It's 2.5" OD. I have had mine off for over a year now. I run topless with half doors and the Primer look is normal for me now. I'll bedline it... Someday.

Default Looking for people with experience in these pads.

Basically, there are plenty of thickness and ratings to choose from... Have you ever been knocked agains the OEM "padding"? It hurts. Will SFI approved padding help my helmetless passengers in a roll? Is a 3" SFI approved pad the same as a 5" NON-SFI?

Was hoping someone firsthand would chime in.

Default ^^^ Heres why.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUV6KKbSm9g Passenger seatbelt took a shit, so I am going to harness bar setups front and rear. More surfaces to bang us up.
