Default Rotor Question

I need new front rotors for my jeep jk. I want your all opinions on the best and most durable rotors available. Price isn't an issue, just want good info. Thanks!

Sounds like it is time for the Teraflex Big Rotor kit. Two to choose from.

I used a Teraflex front big rotor kit with Hawk brake pads, my rig stops nice and controlled.

Are there any modifications that I need to make to install them?

Nope, they bolt right on. Check TF YouTube channel for an easy to follow install video. I installed the fronts a couple weeks ago. they are beefy.

With oversize tires, overlanding gear onboard, and towing an off-road trailer like we do, adding up-rated brakes just makes sense. The TF videos are awesome. they do the big brake upgrade literally on the side of the road with hand tools.

Mopar Big Brake Kit upgrade is better and a better value than the TF. Good luck.

They are referring to TF's Big Rotor Kit, not the Big Brake Kit. The BRK copies Mopar's BR6 13" heavy duty brake option sold overseas. It uses 13" rotors with the stock calipers, mounted on extended brackets. The BBK uses the 13" rotors, but with dual piston calipers ( suspected to be copies of the Ram 1500 calipers) mounted on custom brackets. From experience I'd suggest the BRK is the best value up to 37" tires. At 37" & beyond the Mopar BBK is a better value as it includes a lot more for less money.

Right now I'm running a five year old TF BBK with the Mopar BBK master & booster. Great setup.
