Default Rough Country 2.5" Suspension Kit, install?

I think I'm going to go ahead and order the RC 2.5" Suspension Kit/Budget Boost($140) and do the install myself along with a lot help from my brother. I have a 2011 JK sport unlimited. She's wearing BFG KM2 255/80 17 with Cragar D windows 4.5 backspacing. Besides this basic kit, what else will I need? Do I need a Rear & Front track bar? How about wheel spacers? Just trying to avoid any surprises and or my overall budget to start increasing once the install begins. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm a total newb to all of this, so what I say only comes from the research I have done. Since you already have wheels with 4.5 BS, you should not need wheel spacers. As for the trackbars, I say install the lift and see what you think. Your axles could be off center a little to one side or the other without them, but it might not be too bad. Seems to be hit or miss with the BBs. If you feel like your steering is flighty after the lift, you could add some adjustable front lower control arms and rear uppers. Be sure to post pics once you get it all buttoned up and good luck.

Thanks for the reply 4fit. Anyone actually have this exact RC spacer kit installed and if so any issues? Would love to hear from someone with some first hand experience. Seems like the only reviews I can find refer to the RC kit with the coil lift.

I have the same spacer lift... No problems.. I actually got the 2.2 shocks but nothing else..(ie.front track bar, trackbar relocal brackets, control arms).. Drove better them stock.. It's been 2 years and I'm now just upgrading to a good coil lift.. You will have no problems..they are just spacers..

Agreed, I put the lift in by myself in Feb. The hardest part is pushing down the axles for the springs. You will be fine with help.

Get it and put it on. As 4fit said you may need a front TB or a rear TB bracket or front LCAs. It all depends on how you feel it rides after you lift it. I ran with just the spacers and shocks and found no reason to add the other stuff.

I ran the same lift on my 07. It drove fine and the rear end was only offset 1/2 inch. I ran 285/75/16's with no problem. For the money you can't beat it.

I have installed two of them. One on my 07 and one on my 09. They are really simple to install with just the right results. For light trail duty and great looks you cant beat them. While help is always great, I did mine myself. Cant remember if the kit includes longer sway bars or not, if it doesnt, buy them too.

When you say longer sway bars, is that the same as rear sway bar links? The Series II kit comes with rear sway bar links.
