Default Rough Country JK Front Stubby Winch Bumper

I'm a cherry when it comes to the Jeep world so I apologize in advance. I'm a 37 yr old public safety officer who grew up on a farm and have wanted one all my life. I was always told they weren't practical because you can't haul anything with them like you can a truck. My lovely wife got her RN license not too long ago and now my dream can come true. I just ordered me a 2013 JK Unlimited Sahara in Commando Green w/ hardtop on 9-14-12. These next 4-6 wks will be the longest of my life I think. I have checked the threads the best I can but need a specific question answered if you guys don't mind.

Does anyone have a Rough Country JK Front Stubby Winch Bumper? If so, what are your thoughts on this bumper. My Jeep dealer is a friend of mine and is going to dealer install the bumper and winch (Warn VR10000) for me so it rolls out the way I want it from day one. I'm open to suggestions but I've narrowed what I like down to this bumper or a Rampage Front Recovery Bumper 88510. I prefer the RC because it sets the winch down low below the grille so it is protected and also doesn't restrict air flow to the radiator. It is important for me to be able to keep the factory fog lights which both of these do.

Ok, I will wait patiently for your answers................. prolly not, I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas to open that big box under the tree.

Thanks, lonewolf23

I've got the RC XHD stubby and love it. I went with the stinger bolt on too. But overall, no complaints. Enjoy the new jk!

I like it. Cost and function are perfect. Looks are good too. Stock tow hooks fit with it,.... My engo fits it perfectly.

We aren't talking about the hybrid right? The regular stubby winch bumper? I too was wondering, I like the look with the d-rings and stinger, very affordable too

No, I'm asking about the regular one, not the hybrid. I'm going with the light bar if I end up getting it. No use for the Stinger in the prairie of Missouri.

I'm saving up for this bumper right now. For now I just cut my stocker into a stubby.

Default Finally got it installed

Well after dealing with some financial issues, I finally got my RC Stubby bumper and got the winch mounted. Thought I'd show it off.
