Rough Country Lift
Anyone running the Roughy Country 3.5 Lift?
I am thinking about getting it but wanted to see if anyone had it and if they liked it or hated it. Just trying to do my research before I purchased it! 3.5in Suspension Lift Kit for 07-13 Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited [609S] | Rough Country Suspension Systems http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/11/ujage3uv.jpg Thank you! I suggest you look at what is involved in running a 3.5" lift.
That said, I wouldn't recommend a RoughCountry lift. Poor coils, shocks, and bushings. You'll end up replacing it down the road. Why do you want a 3.5"? What tire size are you going to run? What type of driving do you do? |

I've had that lift for over a year now and IMO its a decent lift for the price (PM Rough_Country on here for a better deal than the site) I would highly recommend using an adj trackbar instead of the drop pitman arm and trackbar bracket it comes with, handling will be much better. The shocks are a little rough, but the lift does have a lifetime warranty and ive been told they will replace springs that start to sag. If you have a budget jeep like me you get a decent amount of lift for the price.
One thing with running a lift this big is that if you disconnect the front sway bars the driveshaft boot may tear on the transmission pan, so either dont disco or get a new DS |
I've had mine for a year and so has my brother. Have about 1000 miles out of my 20k total offroad and always disconnect and no problems. Only prob I have is my 35's stuff so well that I do rub my fenders (and yes I have bump stops). If budget is a concern get it if not a concern there are better options out there

There is a large thread floating arou d about this lift that will give you alot of comments on it but that said I have 23k miles on mine and knowing what I paid for this lift and the kind of driving I do..... I have no serious complaints. If I was to anything, I would go with some better shocks

I am happy with mine, but I purchased the Jeep with it already installed. Smooth ride compared to other Jeeps I have been in. I guess only time will tell.

I've had my 2 1/2 RC lift a year and love it! No problems, handles well, and easy on the J. E. E. Pocket!

I would recommend not using the drop pitman arm. I would also get a adjustable track bar. The RC is fine but you can run into clearance issues with the steering box.
