Default Rough Country Steering Stabilizer Installed!!!

I got my RC steering stabilizer yesterday and installed it the same day. All I can say about this is WOW!! What a difference these beefy things make on my JK running 33's. I found myself trying to find pot holes, swags in the road, bumps etc.... while running 70 on the interstate. It holds the line so much better now and its running very close to my favorite mod to date as far as on road performace is concerned.

Installation was also a breeze. Rough Country knocked this one out the park. Pricing is also very minimal for such a drastic improvement.

Now what to do with my old tinker toy stabalizer???

Glad to hear some more good reviews on this one. I will add it to my list of priorities

What do you mean? the joint where the rough country shocks come together in the middle? How often does it bottom, what are the conditions that make it do that? Full flex or going down the highway?

I could see that happening while i was installing the stab and i was letting it down off of the jack stands. I had to adjust the mount a bit with a little rotation of the mounts toward the rear, cleared fine after that. Was a pain after putting up all my tools.

Yep, I had to do the same thing on mine, but it was no big deal.

WARNING: Make sure that you studs that stick off the adjuster collar on your drag link are not pointing to the rear of the Jeep. If they are you could hit hard at full articulation.

This system does fit and will work with full flex, you just have to be careful how everything is setup.

Mine is working sweet! So happy with it. Even beat it up on the trail and still working great. Take a close look at this pic, you will see i bent and rotated the bracket on the drivers side, still working anyway. Took about 3 min to fix at the end of the day. Imagine if it was the stock one, i would have ripped it off!

Where did you guys get yours? I'd love to get this if it improves the tracking on road. Memphis is notorious for pothole/rutted streets! Heck every I get to take my Jeep offroading daily without leaving the pavement!

Ok, I just noticed on the RC website they say you cannot install on Jeeps with less than 2 inches of lift. Guess my 1.75 inch lift is just out of range. Oh well.... guess I HAVE to go with a bigger lift now right? Right?
