Who's got a RR modular bumper? I'm thinking about getting one for my '11 Sahara.
How you like it? Any issues? Weight issues with stock suspension? I asked this weight questions and got mixed responses.
Can you post some pics? Thanks!

There are a few threads on this bumper that will have many pics and answers. Here's one to get you started.

Absolutely love mine. It is heavy, also have winch, but looks great and I like it. No stock suspension issues, bit it did drop about an inch.
Make sure you have help putting on, tried solo and it was an absolute b@&ch. Needs 45 ft lbs torque on each of the 8 front bolts. And use the spacers off your original bumper to move it out a bit. Also seems to have eliminated hood flutter.

I have the RR modular bumper set-up and I like it a lot. I think the design of the bumpers suit the Jeep really well. I don't know how they will affect a stock suspension though...
Had a couple of minor issues with the rear set-up...
My 9yr old daughter decided to use the tire carrier as a swingset and ended up bending the liittle drop-pin that holds the carrier in the out position.
Then you'll have other people that don't know any better try to close the carrier without pulling the pin out first and do the same thing.
I just ended up pulling the pin out and hammering it straight again. No biggie I guess.
I also got annoyed with the little aluminum wear plate that the pin is supposed to slide on because it kept falling off, so I just left it off.
Also, the latch to hold the tire carrier closed works well enough, but the finish on it looked so rough that I ended up taking it off, sanding it down, and painting it black myself. Looks better now.
None of these are really big problems with the bumper... I'm just kinda picky about my Jeep.
Overall the bumper is excellent and a great buy for the price. It is solidly built from 4mm steel plate and the first person who tries to rear-end me is not going to be happy.
Never had any issues with the front bumper whatsoever.

I have one with the optional stinger. Loved it until this weekend when my hi-lift fell against the stinger and left a huge dent in it. If a jack will do that, then the stinger is definitely to flimsy to do it's intended job.
Now I'll be upgrading to a PSC Brawler Lite in a few months.

As far as I have read and understand, the XHD stinger and overrider hoop are made using .120" wall thickness tubing...the same thickness tubing used on many other top name stingers and grill hoops including the Hanson Offroad bumpers. Maybe the PSC Brawler is made with tougher material, but I doubt it. Was just looking into the PSC bumper....it is also made with .120" wall tubing.
Maybe Rugged Ridge can confirm for us if the tubing they use on their bumpers is equivalent... DOM tubing (Drawn Over Mandrel) type which I think is the standard offroad bumper manufacturers use for tubing.

Thanks for your comments. I appreciate it.
Being that i will not be doing hardcore off-roading, just your basic stuff. I think the RR modular will suffice for me.
I think i will be making the purchase shortly.

I went with ends and hoop. It does say in several places, including a sticker on the hoop that it's not a pull point.
FWIW, I did a couple of "red" trails yesterday and no problems with stock Rubicon suspension. I did hit the bump stops a couple of times, but a simple leveling kit is going to fix that when I get home.
Stingers are supposed to keep you from rolling end over end, and if your in that position would assume they are all going to bend A LOT.
