2 screws for each side? got them used so I just want to make sure. I got 4 screws total and he put a note that you have to use 2 of the factory scews on the insides

 

yep. i re-used 2 of mine. you're fine. follow the instructions.

the long ones are for the outside, the inside are re-used from factory then. cheers.

WHY won't this work for me?
When I re-use the factory screws on the inside, the top inside one (factory) is not long enough to go in the hole!!!

Tried for 1 hour and failed!

Did they change anything for 2011?

Could have sworn I got 3 for each side, regardless, I didn't get 4 and it's held together..

 

Just installed them on my 2011 and Quadratec sent me all new screws. Longer for the outside and shorter for the inside. I reused nothing.

 

You got the outsides, why don't you CAREFULLY try to reuse one of the longer stock outsides that you wont be using?
I got all 4 new with mine.

 

I put mine on last week...

Came with 4 screws for each side, both sets individually packaged in the box. (also orderd from Quadratec)

Each package contained 2 long screws for the outside, 2 shorter screws for the inside. and the spacers.
