Default Rubber isolator question

I'm asking this for a friend of mine who is installing a 1 3/4" BB on his 2dr JK. He recently installed a warn front bumper with an M8000 winch. The rake is very noticable! He has a 1 3/4" BB that he plans on installing tomorow and he is wondering if he can run the puck without the stock isolator in the rear to minimize the rake. Any input?

you can but it won't make that much of a difference. the rubber is very soft and compresses quite a bit.

what about running double stack in front and none in back? I did that in my ZJ and worked great.
