Default Rubbing on with Teraflex discos - best solution?

I just put on some teraflex front swaybar discos (0-3") and am getting rubbing when turning at full lock with the swaybar disconnected and hooked up to the storage pins. tire rubs on the disconnect bar itself, not the bolt like i've seen in other threads. it doesn't rub unless driving (i.e. doesn't rub at full lock when stationary). haven't had a chance to test this offroad yet, but it's likely gonna rub even more when i hit the trails.

for reference, I was not getting any rubbing when connected with factory links - even fully flexed off road.

2013 JKU sport
Daystar 1-3/4" comfort ride lift kit
17x8.0 cragar 397 wheels, 4.5 backspace
BMG AT TA K0 315/70/R17 tires
Bushwhacker flat fenders

Any suggestions?
- i may be able to ziptie the swaybar higher, but then i don't get the benefit of the easy storage.
- wheel spacers? don't really want to do that unless I have to as I like the stance now.
- It may be that I just need to get a real lift....

thanks, Alan

Are you running stock bump stops? Trimmed fenders? If not, you WILL rub off-road when disconnected. The antisway bar links will be low enough to hit too.

These are a large 32" or small 33" tire on a Tera leveling kit.. If I turn, I'd rub.

You'll need a real lift or increased bump stop. Combo of both really.

Sent from some string and a few tin cans.

This is a known issue with the Teraflex discos... I would just use zip ties and ditch their storage pin thing

i read that people had issues with the sidewall hitting the bolts, but the redesigned TF discos are different so I figured I'd be OK.

oh well.... if i'm into the zip ties than i guess i should have just got the JKS in the first place....

anyone know if steering stop adjustment is going to help me here?

so steering stops didn't solve the rubbing, so i just ziptied the sway bar up out of the way and it worked like a charm offroad today. and wow, it's a completely different beast with the swaybar disco'd. so much more flexibility. even with just a 2" budget boost and no lockers the thing just drives over shit without missing a beat- very awesome.
