Rubi locker stuck
I had a problem with my 2007 and a stuck rear locker - no changes to gears or anything. Luckily it was still under warranty and the dealer replaced it. They said the locker carrier was deformed and was just causing the lock to bind. I drove the Jeep home from the trail locked, opened the rear cover and just touched the locker lock ring and it popped open. I test locked it before putting the cover on and it stuck again. Next step was the dealer. Never a problem after replacement.
Hopefully your problem is the one listed in the previous threads.

Been inside those stupid differentials more than I care to remember. As long as I've put the sensor in before the carrier, everything's worked fine. I love the smell of 90 weight in the morning. It smells like I've done somethin' else stupid....
Just to update everyone
Thanks for all the great info and quick responses. It was indeed the actuator was installed incorrectly and luckily no damage.
I pickup my long waited regeared "5.38", sleeved, guesseted, and control arm skids
It was a little frustrating but all said and don't for labor I paid under $500 for everything installed I can't complain!!!
