It looks like I will be going 4.56. Found a good deal plus it will work just fine for my current 33" and will work great for possible 35" later. I want my power back! It's a weekend vehicle so it won't see a ton of miles and I'll be careful on the skinny petal off-roading as to not blow up my Dana 30.
Thanks for all the knowledge guys.

i agree with this
Choice of gear ratio and tire size depends on your goals. As tires get taller, you need to perform more other modifications to keep reliability. Personally, I am happy with stock 32" tires and 3.73s with the 4:1 transfer case. Jeep put together a good package, with much bigger tires than in the "old days" but some just have to do more. Even if Jeeps came with 37" tires and 5.43s, "everyone" would argue that they "need" 40" and 6.14 gears.
with lifted jeeps . Stock jeep will get you where your goin just fine , with out breaking the bank . A few small modifications
is all you really need if that
i had a 2011 with 3.21 gearing and 33s
i have a rubicon with 4.10s an 33s
both got me to the places i wanted to get to, I havent even needed to engage lockers that i have but once

appreciated your info, I was wondering I have a rubi 2020 and when I drive it in 4Low I can't exceed about 25 miles would it be possible to go over the 25mph in 4low ? if yes what do I need to do.
I appreciate your advice
