I'm not sure if the wiring and relays are there or not, but I would look into wiring the lockers separate from the JK's computer. So that you can switch them on when ever you want, not just in 4lo.

it is a easy bolt in... just pull out the dana 30 and bolt up the dana 44... then just run 12volts to the lockers with a switch and your good to go ! top plug... their is a bottom sensor plug that tells you if your lockers are engaged or not.. but you dont have to hook that up . good luck

as mentioned, it's a simple bolt up installation and, there is a wiring kit that you can buy to complete the install if you want it to be completely factory.

I changed out the d30 in my Sahara w/ a Rubicon D44 without problem. There's a writeup on how to wire the elocker (using a relay) if you use a Rubicon axle. I stayed with the stock D44 rear axle, installing an ARB locker in it and new axle shafts. It's a good time to re-gear if you are going to run larger tires.

Ok cool, In running 37's now with 5.13 gearing. I'm changing to 44's so I'm not worrying all the time plus thinking about getting 40's from a friend.
