Default Rubicon Axle Replacement

Thinking of purchasing the OEM Rubicon F/R axles from 4WD.com. Anyone here purchased or installed them? How are the factory lockers holding up in your Rubicons?

I didn't get it from 4WD, but mine is holding up so far. I have about 3,000 miles on it and have done some pretty hardcore stuff. I have read about some breakage of the locker so I am somewhat concerned that it may not last forever. It's still not a bad deal for a bolt-in 44 even if the locker does go bust.

Do you have a write-up on how to hook up the locker on the unlimited X's? I've thought about getting the same axle.

I'm interested in doing the swap as well..... Anybody have any write-ups or advice on the installation?

In the 4WD catalog (pg. 123) I got last week, they are also selling the OEM harnesses and replacement switch bezel. I ordered them. Gotta do it piece by piece

OEM switch panel :#04602508AE, $28.99
OEM Wiring Harness: #56055357AF, $119.99

For some reason, they don't show on their site though.

I haven't done an actual write-up, but it has been discussed on the forum. Basically I tapped one of the power outlets on the dash and ran that to a switch. The switched power is sent to a relay next to the battery (also where the Rubicon's are located), then power from the relay and ground are wired to the locker actuator plug on top of the Rubicon axle housing.
