Question Rubicon Express 2.5 lift, any good?

Hey guys,

Anybody have the above lift on a 2DR? What do you think of it? Price seems reasonable, even with their shocks

I'd love to do Teraflex but they're a bit out of my budget. Don't want a puck lift

You only asked the question barely 2 hours ago

Give it time a lot of guys are probably working.

I have a TeraFlex on a 4dr so I am no help but I have heard and read several guys that have the Rubicon Express lift and like them. Most lifts are pretty decent and complete just make sure you do your homework. And keep in mind as the old saying goes "you get what you pay for"

Wink

I know, I was being impatient.

Hopefully someone that has the kit will chime in soon. I'm still considering all options, including Teraflex....

Just curious is all

Rubicon Express makes an awesome kit for the price. They use quality materials, and finishes on their components. I have ran a few of their lifts on my TJ and a couple of my friends Jeeps. I never had a complaint.

The Rubicon Express 2" BB comes in 2 different versions. The cheaper one has shock extension brackets instead of new shocks. They will allow you to run your stock shocks with out loosing too much suspension travel and performance.

The other option for you is the Rubicon Express BB with Shocks. This one is a little more expensive of a kit, but it come with brand new shocks, that are meant to work with the lift kit. It'll give you a much better ride, and give you some more performance off road.

We have both kits ready to ship out, and if you have any questions feel free to ask. Also you can give one of our Jeep Experts a call at 800-988-4605 and they'll be more than happy to help you out!

I'm running the Rubicon Express 2.5 Coil lift. I like it, no complaints here. But, I'm running a JKU.

Thumbs up Thanks for the replies!

I knew there were some of you out there with RE lifts

I'm pretty much set on a coil lift. No need to do things twice

That was the original lift that I wanted but ended up going with RK 2.5 Mod w/ 5100 shocks. I cannot wait to install them and it will be a much better platform to upgrade from, higher quality and always do it right the first time so you dont repeat!!!
