Default Rubicon Express BB?

Anyone have experience with the Rubicon Express 2.5 front & 1-3/4 rear lift? I am leaning towards that one at the moment. Your thoughts?

I have an 08 2-door and had the RE spacer lift installed. It rides better than stock, nice and firm with no mushy feel. I like the Bilstein shocks it came with.
It also sits perfectly level, no more rake. 33x12.5x16 tires fit good.

I have the same kit with the monotube shocks (BTW, the shocks are by edelbrook, not bilstein). Still liking them...perfect if you just need some mild lift and fit 33" to clear at full flex

Thanks, I'll probably go with this the RE, especially since the shop said the electric sway bar disconnect will still work.

I just installed this lift on saturday. I got the kit with the monotube shocks.
The ride is great. the flex is great but the install was a little frustrating.
The monotube shocks require some mild modification. And if it catches you by surprise like it did me without the right tools, its going to take longer to install.

First, for the front shocks you have to remove a bar/pin from the new bushings and remove and install the sleeve from the old bushings from the old shocks.
For the rear shock you have to drill out the holes on the mounting post so the original bolts can go through them.

You don't really need to drill out the holes for the rear shocks.. just replace them with the stock ones.... although...that was real pain to do if you don't have a bench vise. But, if you have a bench vise and grease, it shouldn't be that hard to do

I know. I wish I did the job at my grandpas house since he has a nice big bench vice. I used this little dinky one I had laying around along with grease and a good mallet. still a pita.
