Default Rubicon Express lift question

just read the other members post on the 2.5" lift. Im thinking about getting the 2.5" lift with the shocks that come with it. or getting the 3.5"lift but no shocks. what are some cheaper shocks that would cover the 3.5" lift. I'm only a little bitty e-3 and money isnt in huge abundance right now. looking for advice on which one you guys would choose and some good tips on shocks. im not doing too much rock crawling and im only looking to run 33" tires. but considering a 35" any tips would be great. thanks

Bilstein 5100s are great shocks. They run about $80 a piece, give or take a few bucks. If you go cheap on shocks, you will feel it.

Edit: 2.5" lift is perfect for 33s and you can still run 35s down the road. You won't need to change out control arms, among other things with that kit as well. Easier on the bank account!

thats what the rubicon express shocks cost. I'm looking to go a little cheaper. like skyjacker hydro shocks. ive had them in the past with my other JK. i dont want the SJ kit again but i thought the shocks were decent. and for $35 a shock.
