Default Rubicon locker keeps blowing fuses

I just installed a rubi d44 in my sport and I wired it up and anytime I go to engage the locker my fuse blows. I have it wired as locker switch to 8, status indicator to 3, ground to 7 and 2-6 jumpered together going to my fuse which is 15 amps. My other wires from the locker and indicator are grounded as well. Any help is appreciated.

This is how I have mine wired with no issues. Plug 1 (little plug) is is the locker and plug 2 (big plug) is the status.

In the hand drawing, the switch is plug 1 and the actuator (status) is plug 2 at the diff.

While not shown, I wired in a rocker switch between the 12V positive and the OTRATTW switch so that it can't be accidentally engaged. I put this rocker switch to the left of my steering column with the locker switches under my HVAC controls.

I have mine wired following that diagram. Are the locker wires by any chance polarity specific? I didn't think they were but if they are then that's my problem I'd imagine.

Nope, no polarity. If you're still blowing fuses, then you've got a short somewhere. Unplug your wiring from the differential and flip the switch. That should tell you if you have a short. Is this happening for both your front and rear or just one?

I only have a rubi 44 in the front. I just swapped it in.

Still blows the fuse when they're disconnected. Must have a short where I soldered onto the factory plug.

Yep. So now figure out which one, the locker or the status.

I must've got side tracked when I soldered wires on the factory plug, I never separated the wires before putting shrink tubing on so it was a direct short. Thanks for the help.
