Default Rubicon shocks swap.

I've have a 4 dr sport with 305/65/r17 extreme a/t and a 2" body lift. A friend of my is pulling his coils and shocks off his 2011 4 dr rubi w/ tow package and giving them to me. With the coil and shock swap would I see any ride or height gain? Is it worth the time to swap them out?

I couldn't speak for an Unlimited, but I swapped a set of those same springs onto my 2 door Rubicon at one point. They gave me about 1" of height over my 2 door Rubi springs. The time spent in my case was worth it. Some might not do it for that result. They will have a little more height and weight capacity than your current springs. IMO

See link for some info on this. You will need to determine the number of each coil and decide if it's worth the swap. I did this (went from a 14 to 17 front and 55 to 59 rear) and gained about 1.5 inches.

Definitely do the shocks as it's very worth it. Ride is much better with the rubi shocks!

+1 on that. The springs will give you a little lift, but the shocks are well worth the 30 min it takes to swap them on. They are a little stiffer overall, but really help with body roll and diving while braking. I absolutely HATED the stock X/Sport shocks that came on my Jeep. I swapped them over to Rubi takeoffs after about 10k miles and it was very worth the small amount of effort it takes to install them
