Default Rubicon Shocks...Yay or Nay?

So I'm very close to buying my Teraflex BB w/o shocks. I came across many posts saying the Rubicon shocks are superior to the TF shocks. I'm now considering buying a set of the Rubi shocks, and was wondering if anyone could tell me how they are superior to the TF, and is it worth the money to buy the Rubi's new or used? Anyone who has experience with this setup, please lemme know know how it's working for you. Thanks in advance. Also, as of now, I plan to keep my stock X springs, but if anyone has another opinion, Im open for suggestions.

For what it's worth, I got some rubi shocks off another poster and like them. Would love to upgrade to something else though. I'd go with OME.

You should be able to pick up some lightly used Rubi shocks on this forum for $50 or less on this forum. I have the OME shocks and I love the ride both on and off road. Would definitely get them again.

Don't know about the aftermarket shocks... but today, I busted the stock Rubicon shock with the teraflex BB shock extension. Front right snapped off at the top as well as the extension snapping!!! Didn't really think I was running them that hard. Not sure if anyone else has encountered a similar situation... but I'd avoid the shock extensions...

Nothing is "wrong" with the current shocks, But i've heard that the rubi's are better quality, plus I think the red shocks look good. I've got the tow package on my X so I have the HD springs, and am looking for a little more capable ride off road. I plan on the BB and 33's for my jeep, then it's done... Sorry, I can't say that without laughing. Anyway, it's my DD so this setup will hopefully work out for me for many years to come, or until I get a wild hair up my rear and decide on a long arm kit and 37's.
