Default Rubicon Transfercase Gearing into an X????

Is it possible to just swap out my current gears for the 4:1 setup that the Rubicon has?
Or what other options are out there? I looked at Stak 4x4 and Atlas but those are really pricey. I know that TeraLow had a kit for the TJ but have seen nothing for the JK yet.
Screamin Lizard is helping me figure this out but I wanted to tap into the extensive knowledge of the posters in this forum.
Thanks for the help.

I am also curious. The stak sounds great, but it is super expensive.

Unless I am WAY offbase here, a transfer case swap is the only thing you need to get the 4:1 ratio.

You are correct and from the looks of it, it is a bolt on upgrade. From the looks of it...

X2.

With the doubler you'll have:

1:2.72 4x2
1:2.72 4x4
1:7.39 4X4

More details here:

Call me crazy, but would it be possible to use the doubler with an Atlas 4spd as long as you have the auto? I'm not even sure what the crawl ratio would be, but it'd be something along the lines of

3*2.72*4.1 (for a Rubicon) * 10.34 = 345:1

Talk about a walkaround. You could probably start it down a short hill, sit down for a picnic, take a short nap, take a crap, and have a beer before it got out of sight!

Why in the world would you want to do that? The 4:1 low range of the Rubi is PLENTY low. I let my foot off the brake completely on a steep hill in Moab and it just creeped along. Any lower and you'd have to gas it DOWN hills.
