Default Rubicon vs. X Springs

What's the difference between the springs that come on the Rubicon and the ones that come with the X (2 door)? I hear people changing them out when they get bumpers and winches and that stuff...so I'm curious.

I threw in some Unlimited Rubi Springs when I did my lift....the fronts were almost 2.5 inches longer than the stock ones...the rears were the same length....I lost my rake but when I put the bumper and winch on it all evened out...

Apparently there is like 23 different variants of springs....length, stiffness....girth..(ok not girth just seemed like the direction I was going there )

Talking

Since NO ONE is mentioning this important point:

The Rubicon coils are the SAME DAMN PART #'s as the coils for the X and Sahara's.

The ONLY difference in lift is because some one did a UNLIMITED (4dr) Rubi coil swap onto a Two Door JK.

IE: The 4 dr's are heavier than the 2 drs....so ANY 4 dr coil (Not just a 4 dr Rubi coil....) will give A TWO DOOR more lift.

If you swap on a 4 dr rubi coil set to your 4 dr X, you may in fact be swapping in the EXACT same coil as your X MIGHT have come from the factory with.

Hope that makes sense.....its the 4 dr vs 2 dr, NOT the Rubi Coil itself, that makes the coil swap mean anything.

We had people swap in 4 dr Rubi coils onto their 4 dr X's....and, NOTHING DIFFERENT height or ride to notice....same part #.

why is there 23 different versions if stiffness between models isnt included?
I am not doubting what you say, just trying to get my head wrapped around this...
