Default ruffstuff diy long arms

I'm looking at upgrading to a long arm setup and was wondering if anyone has went with the ruffstuff diy longarm setup? Yes its a radius arm setup, but from what ive seen, it seems to work well. I will also be adding an HD cross member not only for added strength, but for a mounting point for the front long arms. Also, does anyone sell just the LCA mount for long arms that mounts to the frame?

There's tons of mounts out there you can buy. They all need to be welded in.

Mounting to the crossmember is fine, but it needs to be reinforced. At the least, weld gusset on. I personally wouldn't attach arms to something that is held on by two small bolts on each side.

I had planned on either welding the crossmember in, or making reinforcement brackets for it

You'll want to be able to remove it easily...

Usually convenient

Clayton makes one, but it is crazy pricey.

Artec makes one with and without link mounts. I may try it down the road if i ever finish my front end then want to redo it lol. I dont know how rear reinforced it is and more than likely id still gusset the frame mounts and such.

I've looked at that one. Problem is that it just bolts to the stock frame mounts. The 1/4" plate doesn't do much good when it is bolted to the stock garbage. It would need some reinforcement.
