Neither, but if I had to, ARB...I don't like the fact that the XHD bumper components (hoops, D-rings, ends, etc) bolt onto the bumper, as opposed to being welded on...ARB has amazing craftsmanship and are very durable, but cost ~$1000 for just the bumper. You can shop around most online suppliers and get the same quality bumper for ~$6-800 and they throw in pretty decent deals if you want added light packages, winches, etc. getting your total to ~$1000 with some extras.

IMO an LoD, AEV, or Shrockworks front bumper with skid-plates and winch bracket for ~$1000 > ARB or XHD standard

LoD Off-Road
they have a nice stinger bumper if you're into stingers, and every other bumper has optional integrated winch points as well as integrated skid plates and fog lights. All welded construction.

aev-conversions.com/products/jk_bumper/"]AEV Off-Road[/URL] Their bumper comes with integrated winch mount, and foglights more expensive but there are online retailers who sell @ discount

Shrockworks
They have a few different styles (midwidth, stubby, large grill hoops) You can customize your selection and all hoops are WELDED onto the bumper as well as full welded clevis points. Most have the integrated winch option and integrated skid plate.

Evolution Off-Road (EVO) has a pretty highly regarded products rec.'d by most people on the forum, but they only have one bumper option. Well made stuff.

M.O.R.E. Bumpers All welded points, amazing craftsmanship, and lots of options. Good price points and they have complete skid plates for almost every area of your JK

I have the Shrockworks Midwidth with winch hoop, integrated winch, and integrated skid plates. I also went ahead and got their under-body plates as well. I'm not really biased towards any of these companies but I would go with LoD, Shrockworks, or M.O.R.E.

Poor kitties. ARB is an amazing bumper and is really not that heavy.

My arb seemed pretty light, about 100 lbs or so. I mounted it myself, and I'm not a big guy at all.

it was Well worth the $800.

Default Arb

I just installed my ARB front bumper two weeks ago. It is a great bumper, takes a little time to put on, but it is not hard. Fit and finish is great.
