Rugged Ridge Front bumper
Ok. After much deliberation, I purchased the RR front stubby bumper without ends. I ordered it last Thursday and received it today. It took about an hour of hanging out with my son to install it. The install is as follows:
It really was that easy. I did have to cut off the corners of the frame support because it extended into the area where the winch is going to go. I just used a sawzall and grinder to smooth and painted to protect.
Fog lamps fit perfect and everything wet together easily. You really do not need the instructions.
I really love the way it looks and the finish is nice (wrinkle paint).

- disconnect the fog lamps (if you gotem)
- remove the plastic "skid plate" by taking out 6 plastic screws
- remove bumper top plastic cover (2 screws and clip)
- remove 8 nuts from back of bumper
- put new bumper on

Hey Jmat, I used to live in Lafayette in Sussex County. I grew up in Lake Hopatcong. I sure do miss the mountains to 4 wheel. Not too much exciting down here but, the weather is awesome.
The install was a piece of cake.
