rugged ridge half doors painted
Has anyone had their half doors painted? Can the outer door handle be removed to paint them or was it a problem to re-install. My qoute to paint seems high. About how much do you pay for painting? Thanks for any input.

Back doors latch nicely. Front ones not so much. The fronts don't fit the curve of the Jeep body very well. Thier solution is to move my strikers. I don't want to because the full doors fit well. If I was in the US I'd return these. They have the cool factor and will keep me legal in BC But I'm less than happy with them. The mirror recess isn't centered either. The mirrrors fit in but if you're picky don't fit well. If there was adjustment for the door laches themselves it would be better. Sorry to shit on your post.
Just expressing my feelings, I was really looking forward to these.

My rears fit well also. Fronts latch better after using them a bit. Sometimes latch stays all the way open and have to push them in before closing. The fronts do leave a small gap at rear of door which is fine until put windows in. I have not used front windows yet but figure they are going to leak some. All in all i like them though. I got a paint quote for a grand to paint all four but that seemed high. Am planning on getting another price. My mirrors fit fine, guess i haven't looked that close.
