rugged ridge mirror relocate brackets
Only un screw the bottom then lift up but u need to use force but be careful not to hit your head when it comes free and have the doors on when you do this. if you loosen everything your not going to have anything to hold the mirror base as you try to pull the mirror out. this will work. I think your just afraid of braking the mirror but you need to pull up hard. then loosen the rest. i just did this like 3 weeks ago
just so you know the passenger side mirror is useless

I don't know what to tell ya it worked for me
I had the same problem... I almost gave up... but I took them off the doors, took them to my dad's house and used his vise grip thingie... soaked them in WD40 then I stuck a screw driver in the hole and pounded downward with a rubber mallet.
That finally worked. The end is kind of cone shaped, if that helps, it almost wedges in the hole. One good hit and it should pop out... just make sure you catch it somehow and don't let it drop on the floor like I did... luckily it didn't break.
I'm glad I did the Rugged Ridge instead of going completely mirrorless... I drove to my dad's place and a car passed on the right and was in my blind spot, when I went to change lanes, there he was... I still looked over my shoulder and saw him before I even began to change lanes... but how many times do we forget to check the blind spot? I kept checking where the mirror used to be, lol.
