There's a number of Jk with them on this site, try using search for more. They get knocked for being mounted too low, but they're well built, mount to chassis (not body) and perfect if you need rock sliders that double as steps (for kids or the better half )

Here's mine

I have had them for a long time, they do hang about an inch below the frame rail, but that keeps the frame from taking the shot

I need something I can use as side steps
as I am putting a lift on and don't want my Fiancee to bitch too much.
My Jeep is rarely off road and when it is its fire trails and what not, no
rock climbing or anything.

I have looked at these, the Olympic #560 Rock Rail (the goofs dont have a pic of it on their site yet) and the Shrockworks.

I like the looks of the Shrockworks the most but have never seen them in person so have no clue how theyd really work as a step

SMRubi

It looks like you mounted those with the Rubi Rockers still on?

Do you have more pics of them closer and from other angles?

Sorry to be a pain, just trying to figure out which will best suit my needs.

Here they are on mine, they do sit low - but so does the frame:

The real losses of ground clearance are not that big IMHO. The biggest issue would be if you were going over something with the tire that was just at the edge of the tire - if it isn't at the edge it is going to hit the frame somewhere anyways.

I mounted them with the Rubi Rails in place, with a piece of EPDM in between each contact point. I like em, and it sounds like I use my Jeep pretty much like you do. They are pretty cheap too, which is nice.

Yes we left the Rubi rockers on. As others have recommended on the forum, because they will rattle when you go over a bump, we put a rubber washer in between and problem solved.

Will look to see if we have any closer/better pics.....
