Default Rugged Ridge XHD Modular Snorkel install instructions

Just info for anyone who has already purchased or looking to purchase the snorkel. Below is a link to the actual instructions, sent to me by Alec at EADoffroad.com

http://www.omix-ada.com/instructions/17756.06.pdf

Hope this helps and when I install mine I will do my best to take pictures and find any tips/tricks.

Uh, now you've commuted yourself to a full install write-up with photo's. Us hold-outs want to see how the stuff works for you first-run orderer's before we buy.

The instructions are rather intensive, with having to remove the fender but I'm hoping it is straight forward. I'll keep you posted.

No worse I guess than punching a hole in your hood

Only 123 steps...should be a 30 minute install

OK so what happened to "NO cutting required in firewall, fender or hood" ??

I love the legal speak on the last page...I am second guessing my decision

People typically bitch about a lack of instructions.

This is a first.

My guess is that it is not 'permanent' cutting...by that I mean, you only trim the flange where the corner cowl is and can reinstall it. That is a little lame I know but if this is as good as I think it looks on their test rig then it seems worth it.

Only time will tell.
