Default Running 5.38's with 37's?

I've searched the site for guidance with no luck...
My current set-up is 4.88's with 35's and wish I had 5.13's (4 door auto Rubi)
I'd like 37's when my 35's run out, and to re-gear at that time.

1) Are Rubi D-44's strong enough to handle 5.38 gears while wheeling "difficult" Colorado Trails?

2) Having an auto tranny 4 door, would the RPM's be favorable for daily driving? I would think the ratio would be similar to 35's and 5.13's

Thanks for any info you guys have

Default 37 on 3 inches?

I'm not an expert but I don't know how well 37's will fit on a 3 inch lift. Perhaps someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing you'd get ALOT of rubbing on turns and even the most basic of trails.

I'm only assuming you have a 3inch based on what your message says at the bottom.

edit: That is a different thread
I'm hoping for feedback regarding the 5.38- D44 combo...

I have put 17K miles on 5.13's with 37 inch Super Swamper IROC's. Mostly mud down here in the South, but no problems. Jeep is still weak! I have hypertech and even with this combo, my speedometer was 10% off on the high side. I would like to have been able to go with even lower gears.

That's good to know. Thanks for the input! As far as the speedo, I had that problem also, and adjusted the programmed tire size to get actual speed indicated by GPS. Hope that helps.
