Rust prevention + Fluid Film
Hey all,
In a few days I'm getting a lift (
) and at the same time I'm going to be doing some other maintenance on my '13 Sahara. I have heard differing opinions about rust prevention, and after doing some reading this is what I have come up with:
1. pressure wash
2. rust-oleum converter on the surface rust I have (which seems to be a lot).
3. black spraypaint
4. fluid film
is there anyone who thinks any of this isn't a good idea, or if I should just stick with fluid film? looking for some opinions here from people who have had experience doing this.
also, if I do decide to spray paint the bottom, is there anything that I CANT paint?

Rocker guard all under neath? Undercoating will work good also. These will work much better than black spray paint, I'm not 100% if there's anything you can't paint so not gonna speculate on that
I used flat black paint on my undercarriage after hitting the whole front axle with Ospho. The Ospho stops the rust and the black paint just makes everything look new again. Make sure you use some high heat paint where you'll expect high temps.
