honestly, it's a legitamate concern and if i lived out in your neck of the woods, i would be leary of installing anything that required nutserts. we bought a jeep from new york and, while the tub and frame handled the salt pretty good, every single aftermarket part installed was rusted pretty good. i can only imagine what would happen if you were to drill holes into your body. the more i think about it, not a good idea in my opinion.

X2.
I have seen the after effects of armor installs and it is not just the nutcerts that you need to worry about. Rust starts all over the paint underneath the armor. To me it is a deal breaker but not everyone cares about stuff like that.

Id go for it honestly, just shoot some primer over the holes you drill out before putting in the nutsert, thats what i did on both my JKUs with the evo skins. And if it rusts the body out in the next ten years, well i guess jeep will have a pretty nice jku in 2022!!!

Put tape over whatever paint will be covered,/sandwiched, any hole you cut better have something like silicone or paint over the bare metal, make sure the uppermost portion of the new "skin" is watertight and you should be ok
