Default Rustys 2" BB instructions?

Anybody happen to have the instructions for the Rustys BB? Box was missing the instructions. I've got the front in using the standard spacer install instructions but the rear presents a challenge. I have no idea how the little metal double sided fork looking thing is supposed to go with the shocks, top or bottom? What the heck is it for anyway. Of course Rustys doesn't have the install guide on their website. And, what's with the extra bag o bolts? Don't see how they are needed either if I just resue the stock bolts.

Didn't need Rusty's directions after all thanks to the write up on this board. The install was straight forward. Just followed the TF BB install and all was well.

Front took about 3 hours as I was by myself and fumbling around trying to figure out if the TF install was the same as Rusty's. When I went to do the back a couple friends showed up which cut the job to about an hour and a half. So, all total about 4.5 hours without Rusty's specific instructions. Not too bad.

David,
I am glad you got everthing in eventually. I just wanted to let you know that they never came with the instructions or I would have shipped them with it. Rusty's at least in my experience has been notorious for crappy or missing instructions. Sorry for any problems. Also I will give you a heads up but randomly Rusty's is sending me a 4lbs package via ups and I have no idea what it is. Just got a tracking number from them last week saying it would be here on monday. If it's some upgrade to the kit I will let you know and send it off.

Thanks Doug, I called them today to get their instructions just to double check the install.

BTW, there's been a couple negative posts on the board about this lift. So far I'm happy with it. Took out for some mild dirt, emergency breaking, and freeway tests and the JK rides at least as well as before the lift. Maybe a bit stiffer with Rusty's Shocks. So I'm happy. Would have been a little less stressful install if the instructions were available but oh well.

I can't see how anything can be negative about the lift it's just spacers and shocks. You really can't screw that up. I think they are bitching becuase if you pay full retail on it it cost as much as the terraflex 2.5 with shock adapters and you get more with that kit. I will post later tonight and let you know what showed up from Rusty's.

Jesus these guys are idiots. OK follow me here I ordered a TJ steering box brace about eight months ago from Rusty's. I got it a week later and tried to install it apparently my TJ had a Rubicon steering box on it so I sent it back to have them send me the correct part. Well about four months go by then three more and nothing never recieved my steering brace. So at that point I got my new JK and said good buy to my TJ. So once again I called them up and explained that I never recieved it and there records showed that so I told them to use the credit towards there JK budget boost which they did and shipped. Long story even longer I sold the Budget boost kit and got a random tracking number in the mail from Rusty's. I assumed it was an upgrade part for their lift but low and behold my TJ steering box brace showed up. Even stranger was the invoice with it said free of charge. These guys are really screwed up.

Can't argue with you on that. I just received my install instructions fax. None of the questions I had during the install are addressed. Shock nut, extra bolts, use existing coil isolator etc... Guess I wont be buying their stuff again. It may work but the lack of detail is concerning.

Ditto, I'm not going with them anymore. It's strange my roommate has had nothing but good luck with them. Oh well
