Make sure you get the new reformulated compound bushings is you choose FT.

Poly(urethane) bushings are usually very stiff.

Rustys claims to use OEM bushings
Thanks Spin, I live up in the northeast so we see some pretty gnarly winters...so which bushing do you think would hold up best?? Would OEM bushings be more ideal with the Rustys??

In general, OEM bushings are the best for the following reasons:

1. Compliant (good ride quality)
2. Durable
3. Low maintenance

Some brands have had problems with the bushings. FT was one of them, but if you run a search you will find a thread (also elsewhere on the internet) where FT took ownership of the issue and announced they solved the problem with new bushings late this past summer.

I think both companies product good quality products.

i run FT lift, just make sure you keep it greased, if you dont. It will make noise. they are coming out with an OEM bushing to make it a maintance free lift.

Here's the description for Rusty's LCA's.

Rusty’s adjustable front lower control arms are built from thick 2" DOM tubing and come outfitted with forged rod ends that are equipped with a flex joint (comes with jam nut and zerk fitting) and adjustable pre-load settings. The axle end comes with a factory OEM rubber bushing installed. All of Rusty's arms are finished in a glossy black powder coating for maximum protection and great looks.

$199 per pair.

I run them and very happy with them.

Cool man, did you just install the front LCA's? or did you do the rear too?? I was just going to try the front's first and see how it is. My caster right now is like 2 degrees and my jeep drives like ass. Hoping just the fronts get me back to a stockish feel on the road. How was the install?? Thanks again

I did both front and rears. Just make sure to torque (on the ground) to 124 Ftlbs on both ends of the bolts (frame & axle). Should take about an hour or so.
