Default Rusty's vs Rough Country shocks?

Which do you like? I have both due to recent good buys, but I have not put them on yet.
Opinions...

Your the one with both of them. Put one set on ride it for a while then change to the others and review here. Its always more awesome to contribute then just watch the site.

I like it! That sounds good. When I get to that point I will try.

I would still like to hear from the Rusty's guys as well.

Love mine. Great quality. Great ride, no complaints.

I would be interested in knowing whom is making the Rough Country shocks. I know that Monroe makes the shocks for Rusty's. My left rear is bashed up a little on the body of the shock, from a rock. No leaking, feels great.

I don't have any experience on Rusty's, but I have the RC 2.2s and love them.

rustys shocks are made by the same peopl ethat make rancho. They once were horrible about 3 years ago but in the past year since the change they are great quality and i would say alot better quality then RC's.

This is what I pulled from their respective websites:

RUSTY'S PERFORMANCE SHOCKS
New & Improved, Rusty's offers a Hydro shock that is specifically designed for your Jeep vehicle. Rusty's shocks are available for stock height vehicles and raised vehicles, with extended lengths up to 35 inches. Manufactured by Tenneco Manufacturing to our specifications, to insure only the best for your vehicle.
• 10 stage velocity sensitive valving
• 240 hour salt spray resistant finish
• 5/8 diameter hardened chrome shaft .625"
• 13/8 diameter piston 1.375"
• Expanded tube design for increased fluid capacity
• Double wall construction
• Internal rebound bumper
• Double welded mount
• Vehicle specific valving
• Limited Lifetime Warranty

The Performance 2.2 series shock absorbers are designed to meet the needs of demanding off-road enthusiasts while still giving the desired on-road ride.
• External jounce bumper.
• Large 2.2" diameter body.
• Massive 41.4 mm diameter piston. 1.63”
• 17.5mm chrome hardened piston rod. 0.689”
• 50% larger than standard shock absorbers.

Comparison of the bodies, they are pretty close. Rods are almost dead on. No mention on the vavling difference with RC. Just wondering rear world feel.

Never rode with Rusty's...But I love my RC 2.2! RC has built in bumpstops, but some say alittle to soft for extreme flexin...Havnt got her flexed that much yet!
