Default S&B Intake

Anybody tried one of these on a JK yet? Anyone have experience with them? My boss at work has one on his Dodge Ram Cummins and loves it.

No personal experience with it on the JK yet, but I just placed one on order and am currently waiting for it in the mail...I've heard good reviews on them from other vehicles + I like the looks of it and the fact that it comes sealed in a box as compared to the other CAIs with an open / exposed element....I will let you know how is performs once I install it....

How is that any different than stock?(Other than size difference)
How does the air get to the filter?

....Although it is similiar to the stock intake being that the filter is covered, same goes for the Volant version....But visually, the difference is the filter design & material as well as the bigger/smoother diameter of the intake tube...I personally am just buying the intake for the looks, the re-use factor of the filter and the added performance the manufacturer claims to offer...Most importantly the habit of spending money on aftermarket parts for the JK

Based on the manufactorers info below...It filters close to stock, but the added benefit is the Flow rate..The intake flows ~ 63% better then stock...

From the website

http://www. sbfilters.com/pdf/iso_5011_2917_ISO%205011%20Test%20Results%20for%20 75-5025.pdf

Airflow Rating: Flows 63.4% Better than the OE induction system at Vehicle's Max Rated Flow (268 cfm)
Efficiency Rating: 99.51% Efficient - ISO Coarse Test Dust
