yes I have only did one pass which does hold up but 2 passes would be stronger. as I do notice a little pull.

Thanks for the write up, the links to the materials were really helpful too... My girlfriend and I just finished up the side cargo nets for my four door tonight. They turned out exactly how we wanted them to. The hardest part was coming up with a design and the right measurements that would work on the four door.

Very awesome thread I am glad I came upon it and will make my own. Thanks for posting. Can you give me model of sewing machine. I also thought you would need something more commercial. I did make my own sunshades.

The sewing machine was the cheapest model sewing through the straps is really easy.
