Safety and an ebay unknown
I went and got the spider spacers so my jeep would not go from a 75 mph funmobile to 3 ton missle of death on the highway and it came with this red sh-t....Im assuming its the locktite(yes/no?) which people say is stronger than supermans elbow. But they also say on the forum skip the red and go with the blue...so do I take the red pill and stay in wonderland or the blue pill and see how deep the rabbit hole goes?
If you check Spidertrax's site, you might be able to buy a couple sets of blems. They are still high quality, but may have a blemish in the anodizing that won't pass for full priced parts. It will save you some dollars.
I bit the bullet on these it was 200 for 4 of them and turns out 60 bucks cheaper than the Teraflexs. I have them all mounted up and it gives the jeep a big wide sexy stance that men fear and women adore
Today, after driving 70 miles at 75mph on the highway, i get to below the Disney Spillways, doing maybe 10 mph, turn right into parking lot,,,,CRUUUUUNCHHHHHHH!!!! I noticed that my rear driver side wheel/tire kept on going, then going through some trees, then promptly dropped down 150 cliff-side into this little river thats below one of the many Lake Dams in the area...ya, $460 tow fee to get Jeep back in driveway...so, im against ANY spacers at the moment but MOST DEFINETLY DO NOT BUY THE $100 FOR A SET OF 4 OFF OF EBAY KIND!!! I HAD MY LIL BROTHER IN THE CAR & THANK GOD THEY DIDN'T SHEAR OFF THE LUG BOLTS WHEN I WAS ON THE TURNPIKE OR IT WOULDVE BEEN REALLY BAD! I'll buy only Mopar ANYTHING from now on!
