Default Sagging Front End.

My front end has the droops. But I have a new bumper and winch! But now my front end dropped by 1¾ inches. The front was lower than the back from the factory.

HOWEVER, I have to get her in a garage at night, so I can't lift it way up.

What are you guys opinion of this? Should I buy a 2" coil spring isolators, and only install the front ones? That, I think, would level my Jeep.

Thoughts?

Good idea. Thanks

Is there some way of telling which, out of 29 spring rates Jeep offers, I should be looking for?

Would something in this category help? I know I have about 300 pounds on the front now.

It's a slippery slope when you start adding weight to your JK. Your vehicle dynamics change very fast. Think about the modifications that you want to do and then spec out your suspension to meet those needs. Otherwise you'll be replacing the same parts again and selling the slightly used parts in the For Sale section.

Oh! that's what I did anyway.

I had a discussion about this subject with one of my friends owning a MB G-Wagon. He'll install a new bumper with an integrated Warn System and he was wondering about the springs and shock absorbers effects. I didn't think that it would have such an influence. Good to know since I will certainly change my awful Euro bumper soon.

I added one inch coil spacers. I didn't feel too bad about that. I don't know about two inches though. That's exponentially more stress on the coils -- as another poster pointed out.

1"/ 2"/ 2.5" coil spacers. It doesn't matter which ones you are using as far as the reliablity of the spring. All it is going to do is set your ride height. Adding more spring spacer height isn't going to stress the springs at all. It will have no effect on them. What is stressing the springs is the added weight.

this solution will get you by, but as mentioned, real solution would be springs
tera flex has 2.5 spring kit you could give that a try

I've run into this same issue, I'm running HD 3" springs but develpoed a serious droop. Placed 1 3/4" spacers in the front. The ride is fine but the problem I find myself in now is that the bumptops are not long enough. The springs are overcompressing when articulating. Something to think about.

Simple fix. Talk with Joe at Terra Flex! You need new springs.
