Default Sagging in the Stern

I just installed my LoD bumper and tire carrier and lost about .75 of an inch out of my TF 3" lift. I want it back.

I thought I could throw a 1" spacer in there, but because of the spring retainer spacer (1" cone shaped spacer) I can't.

I talked to WOL last night and he said swap it out with a 1. 75" spacer, but TF doesn't make one. They have a 2.5" spacer. would that work? I would end up .75" taller than before, but I guess when I add jerry cans, trail rack, and camping gear I will lose it again.

Thoughts or suggestions?

We have 1/2"-1"-2.5". You could get a 2.5" and then cut/grind/machine it down to a custom height.

hey sully, looking at your jeep, i would definitely go with the 2.5" spacers. at worst, i think it will give you a factory rake but the minute you load up your jeep with people and/or gear, you'll be glad that you have a little rake back. of course, if it's more than you'd prefer, it would be very easy to level out your front end.

Daystar makes .75" spacers for the rear.

unfortunately, you cannot stack spacers with a TF rear spacer as it has a retainer peg.

ok I understand.

I am having the same trouble and I don't even have the rear bumper yet. I put an extra 1/2" spacer in back and a 1" in front to compensate for the arb bumper and I ended up 1/4" higher in front. I added the winch last weekend and I am still about 1/4" higher in front. Either the rears settled in or the 114 pound winch did not effect the fronts at all.

sounds like all you really need to do is replace your existing rear spacer with something a little taller

I was planning on replacing the rear TF 1/2" with the tf 1" and, once I get the rear bumper later, cutting out the factory front spring retainer. I plan to cut it out since it took too many hours getting those springs in there.
