Default Sahara fender flares

Anyone trimmed there painted fenders? Wanting to do it buy I'd like to hear thoughts and see some pictures if possible. Thanks

plenty of people have trimmed their painted flares. a quick search should find you lots of threads on it. here are a couple. i realize some of these are not painted, but essentially it's the same thing.

i trimmed mine couple years back but trimmed them too narrow. so really consider what you want to cut before you do it. i really liked mine but too narrow, the 37's kicked up too much crap from road and offroad. so now I have aftermarket flat fenders.

I got a set of flat black ones to install on my sahara rather than cut up the painted ones. Keep a lookout in the for sale section, I got mine for 30.00. Deal

That is a great deal... I usually see them for roughly $100, which is what I got mine for. On the plus side, I sold my Sahara flares for about that too, so the mod was free for me.
