Default sanding bedliner?

Is it possible to sand spray on bedliner? I had a can of spray on not spay as smooth and you can see the globbing on my front grill.

That stuff is so rough I wouldn't know what grit to try.

I sanded some metal to get a couple runs out of the spray bedliner, not sure if there would be any difference on plastic. I used what I had lying on the bench which was fine grit, but since the bedliner is textured I think it will be pretty forgiving.

Spray a test piece. Test on that.

Go from there.

I just bedlined my PSC Brawler Lite and had the same issue. I lightly sanded the affected areas with 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper and resprayed it. You cannot even tell there was ever an issue!

Hope that helps.

Rick

Edit: noticed I said painted. I meant bedlined with the Duplicolor Rattle Can Liner.

I've never sanded bed liner but IMO I would wet sand with a fine grit paper. I am interested in this myself, as I am about to bed line my floors.

What about sand-blasting it at lower pressure?

I hit mine by hand with a 500, it was only the tailgate and painted a day before hand idk if it not being cured would effect the density
