Default shrockworks bumper finish

I'm looking at getting a shrockworks mid-width front bumper. I'm trying to figure out which finish to get on the bumper to best match the jeep. I plan on keeping the stock fenders and the stock rubicon rockrail. I was thinking the textured black finish would look better than the semi-gloss, but I have never seen one in person...just pictures and can't be sure. It appears like the textured black finish would look more stock. Any opinions from people who own a schrockworks bumper, or have seen them in person.

Semi-gloss black finish here on my rock rails and front bumper. Having said that, and that I do really like these products (just ordered the rear bumper, figuring that it would be a nine month wait--LOL), let me add that if you're thinking of getting a bumper from another manufacturer, almost all of them use the textured finish. It was one of the factors that "encouraged" me to get the Shrockworks rear bumper (though I think it's the absolute best of the lot, bar none). Also, talking to Jim at EJS, he seemed to think that the anthracite is problematic if you'd like to keep it looking nice with touch-ups after banging it up crawling. He had an anthracite bumper there--it was very nice. If you're considering that, you might give him a call and discuss it.

Hey thanks for the input guys. Definitely not considering the anthracite finish--just wouldn't look right on a flame red jeep IMO. Mark Doiron that's the best picture I've seen of the bumper, thanks.

I would still like to see a close up pic of the textured finish, but the semi-gloss has grown on me!!!

Blockrockin that is one awesome modded jeep, dude

As you can see from Mark's photo - the semi gloss looks good but doesn't match the fenders or rock rails. The textured is a better match. Go with the textured...

I have the textured finish on the mid-width front, rock rails, and stubby rear. It matches the fenders really well. I haven't had any problem with staining with Georgia clay on any of these. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my fenders.

The textured is a great match for the fenders and stock rubi rock rails. I love my stubby front bumper in textured black and am still anxiously waiting for the rear in textured as well (for 8 months now).

I used Rust-oleum textured. My brother-in-law painted it in his garage. It works great, matches fenders, rock rails and holds up great. I have not had to touch it up yet.

The glossy black that Mark has on his looks awesome as hell!! I have a Black Sahara and that finish would look great on my truck!

It's either gonna be this bumper or the LOD bumper. Does anyone have the lod on their JK?
