Hey guys

I'm having Josie (my jeep) a decent start with mods and whatnot soon.

I'm yanking my hair out because I cannot find the perfect tire ..so I would like to hear your top 3 choices

*If you wanna get a little anal about it: tire size 35" rim size - 16x8 or 17x8
PLUS - I want something that is, well, 'awesome' onroad and off.

Thanks in Advance

Hello fellow deafie! I would recommend the Duratracs for an all around tire that would work in the Vermont winters as well!

EDIT: When I move up to 35s I will probably get a 35x12.50 or a 315/70R17 on my current 17x8 Mojave wheels.

Goodyear mtr with kevlar or Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ. Don't get a tire just cause it looks cool.

Bfg km2 and Goodyear MTR/K are my 2 favorites. I like the look of the km2 slightly more but went with MTR/K on my jeep because they run true to size. (There is less than a 1" difference in size between a 37" km2 and a 35" mtr/k.

Cooper STT hands down, agressive off road and handle very well onroad, beside they got a very long tread life, i'm getting 60k+ out of mine!!
My second choice would be Mickey Thompson MTZ but those wear faster.

I have had my Nitto Trail Grapplers for only a few days, but I am really liking them. Quiet at speed, a little chunky when slowing down to a stop. Great looks, and they look like they will be great on the rocks.

I can not recommend any others, since this is the only non-stock tire I have run on my past three JKs
