Default Seat cover experience thread

OK fellas,

Let's get a discussion going on our experiences with seat covers...good, bad and ugly.

Let me start off saying although the smittybilt deal with free back seat covers got me to bite a few months ago, they are already super faded. Big mistake

I have the wet okoles and they faded a tremendous amount after the first summer. The driver side corner is worn to hell and back pretty quickly too. If I were to do it now, I'd just buy a set of Corbeau seats or cheap covers.

Been eyeing those lately. Just hard to drop that much on covers when you can get Katzkins for a couple more clams.

That said, those are the best looking covers out there

I'm wondering if the newer high quality neoprene is any better. I'm too scared to gamble on that material again

Yeah, the price is what's been holding me back on ordering also. I wander through 4WP every so often to window shop, and pretty sure I would have walked out with a set of these by now if they had the airbag compliant ones sitting there on the shelf.

We run Bartacts on all of our rigs and have for years. Can't beat the fit and finish on them. The install on them is tight, but they don't bunch up or move around. They also have a 3 year warranty against fade.

You can't go wrong with Trek Armor/Bartact. If for some odd reason you have an issue with their product, you will be blown away at how good their customer service is. Quality, materials and customer service are hard to beat, if even possible to beat.

X3 on BARTACT formerly TREK ARMOR, I did have the back seat fade after over two years and mostly drive parked without the top up and Mitch at Trek Armor did not hesitate and sent me the new BARTACT front and rear to replace the faded rear. I have to say that they have one of the best customer service that I have ever had to deal with. I bought some cheaper neoprene covers for my sons car and that is a waste as they are only a couple months fading and fit too loose.

This was the rear that had faded, the fronts had hardly faded at all but Mitch made it right and replaced all with the newer style. He said their may have been a problem with the dye, IDK but am a very happy customer!
