Default Seatbelts???

I was thinking of putting in a "lap-belt" to use when on the trail. My stock shoulder seatbelt is great for on-road use but I hate it when I am "pinned" into the seat. This only happens when the jeep is on a trail.
Any thoughts?

you could cheat the system by using the seatbelt normally, but then put the shoulder strap behind you. that way you still have the lap belt part on you.

I think that make a bracket that you can buy that slips on both belts that you slip all the way down to the lap level.it looks something like this ,but one side is closed and the other is not[i]

Seatbelts save lives! Trust me on this . Wear them as they where intended to be worn. The one time you need it and its tucked behind you may be your last wheeling adventure. I am alive today because of seatbelts wish i could say this about my brother.

If you're ever involved in a side rollover, you'll wish you were pinned to the seat

I've been there, so

anything other than dirt roads

Thanks, I will go look into a "harness system", the more I think about the more since it makes.
