Sector shaft brace
My OME 3" lift included a JKS adjustable front tracking bar. I would like to install the Evolution Offroad steering sector shaft brace, but it only works with a track bar drop bracket at the frame. If I add the drop bracket, will the JKS bar still work? It looks like it would get close to the differential cover when crossed up. Has anyone done this combo? I can call them tomorrow, but wondered if others have done it. At WOL's suggestion, I think this is all I would need for peace of mind for the type of wheeling we do.
Thanks

if you install a track bar drop bracket, you will need to install either a dropped pitman arm or drag link flip. you need to keep your drag link and track bar parallel to each other. otherwise, you shouldn't have any problems using them in conjunction to an adjustable track bar.
As mentioned before, I'm just looking to relieve some of the load on the sector shaft in some conditions. Looking at the price of the parts required to do it, I could do the Redneck Ram upgrade for less if I drill and tap my steering box. Wouldn't the ram assist take some of the load off the sector also. I probably don't NEED either, but peace of mind on the trails is a nice fealing to have.
