Default Security deck question

I have a 2-door with a soft top. Recently it was broken into and my work laptop was stolen. I realize I shouldn't have left it in there, but it was in a bag tucked under the front seat and I only left it for an hour. I decided to get a security deck to avoid this happening again, but I can't find one that meets my needs. I want to be able to keep my back seats in, but I want to be able to flip the deck up, like the Tuffy Security Deck, for bigger items like golf clubs. I need one that has more security than the Bestop Flexatrunk. Does anyone have any suggestions on what will be able to pull this off or am I going to have to build my own?

sorry man, i used the googles and can't seem to find anything. I am sure you could fab something on your own to work. Should be easy enough, even with a think piece of plywood to separate the upper form the lower area of the rear.

The tuffy, while it flips up, has nothing to hold it up
I am sure something could be fabed, but it is easy to just slide off if you need the extra room (and not be secured)

I don't know of anything that meets your criteria with an opening top that is overly secure. Custom is likely going to be your only option there.

I have not looked at the Bestop Instatrunk closely, but from the installation guide I might be able to cut the weld around the top and add a piano hinge on the long side. With some additional weather stripping I think I will have exactly what I am looking for. Any thoughts?
